Cube Van Questions

Featured Replies

My Cube has a nasty leak into the driver's footwell. I've felt the soundproof material under the dash and it's soaked through. The van is stood about alot and I just wondered if it could be water draining into the cab from the bonnet air intake.

I've been thinking of covering the air intake when the van is not in service. Anyone else had this problem?

Also what oil should I use in the engine? It's a 1.9D with 79K miles.

Thanks!

Apparently a common problem is the windscreen seal perishing. Hopefully a new windscreen seal, and someone who can swap the seals over should sort it out. Or if you want you could try silicone sealant applied between the seal and the car and seal and the windscreen all the way around. I think in the Felicia there's some sort of panel in front of the windscreen that needs to be removed for access at the bottom.

I think water is unlikely to be coming from the bonnet air intake, unless it's stuffed with leaves somewhere in which case I imagine there'd be a puddle of water in there and the heater fan probably wouldn't work.
