Went to the dealers to order an annoying little plastic bit, he said can I have a look under the bonnet, I said of course, and he said that I didn't have the standard maf.

I left fairly confused, as did he!!

Neither did the dealer - he said that he didn't recognise the part number.

Post the part number - i'm sure someone will be able to find something.

That's you shafted when it comes to all future warranty claims then.

So what does this mean for you then?

Cant see it being any better? Is it?

I don't know if it's any better because I never had the standard one!!

As for the warranty, he said the only thing it would affect is the dreaded stutter, but they would probably sort it anyway!!

the Ford Galaxy PD130 from 2002 on, has the same MAF sensor as a VRS , i know as i checked , therefore it follows that the one on Ebay is the same one , as it lists VW Sharan and Seat Alhambra PD130
