well im starting to mod engine bits. and a remap is on the cards next month or so. ive heard that 4 bar FPR's are good if you start increasing the work load on your car

Hi mate,

your standard fuel pressure regulator is a 1:1 rising rate one.

this means that if you run a base pressure of 3.5bar at idle, and 1 bar of boost, your car is now running 4.5bar of fuel pressure when on boost.

increasing fuel pressure to say 4bar at idle is not needed. this puts extra strain on your fuel system, such as extra current draw on your fuel pump and extra pressure behind your injectors.

I'd save your money :)

ahh ok wallet away.

the only time you would change it to a 4bar FPR is if you are going stage 2 revo as you have to get the car remapped for the change

Still shouldnt be needed.

Revo state that they need it for the remap and as far as i know they are the only people that use one
