Driver's door not opening

Help

I've just fitted new central lock/ window motor as it went faulty and caused windows to come done (car got soaked) and drivers door wouldn't lock with keyfob.

I had to take fuses out to stop car unlocking but after fitting new window/locking unit and put fuses back in the Windows worked and so did all the door locks bar the drivers door. Then the dash light wouldn't work then Aircon blower didn't work.

I mucked about a few times and finally got dash and blower working

(by the way took reversing light fuse out and the speedo stoped working as needed it to get blower working till i got home as steamy windows) now the airbag warning light is on but everything else is working bar the Drivers door lock by keyfob.

Has anyone had this type of trouble, what would cause the lock motor not to work as tested with a circuit tester and seems to be getting power (tried other motor and that didn't work either) and why would fuses affect other systems that badly when removed then replaced??

Please anyone got any Ideas Thanks
