I need to replace my Octavia with a new one. I have skipped through the on-line brochure and it appears the Audience option has been dropped one all models but the new L&K which I can't stretch to. Is this true and if so will is the sound inferior:confused: if I am forced to opt for the Symphony system.

Take the audience from your old car.

Bear in mind the Audience in the L&K doesn't come with the enhanced 12 speaker pack, you have the standard 8 speakers. Yes the Audience sounds better and has the in dash CD changer but the standard Stream unit along with the standard speakers isn't too shabby either.

I have to say that the Audience with 8 speakers is IMHO way ahead of the stream unit.
