You don't want to know my thoughts

Gimme a 'C'

gimme an 'H'

gimme an 'A'

Can you see where it's going ;)

Are you talking stick on false carbon or "proper" carbon Fibre?

You could do it in "proper" carbon, but it would be have to be done with pre-preg rather than wet lay up really, which get's expensive.

I have a friend in Essex who get's bike parts carbon clad when it's to expensive to fabricate the entire thing, He has had a few fuel tanks and swing arm's done and they turned out great.

The whole carbon thing is great if your going to use "real" carbon, but imho, nothing looks more tacky than stick on carbon sheet in the "wrong" place.

i c wer its goin lol

Fake carbon is just pants IMHO. In truth, on a road car, any carbon is pretty much pointless. If you want your car to remain comfortable reasonably attractive you're never gonna be able to remove enough weight to get a noticeable effect on handling, so carbon trinkets are usually just for show.

One thing I may consider however is covering the B-pillar in something black. This seems to give a smoother look, unifying the appearance of the glass. I may do it in faux carbon, or maybe matt black vinyl so as not to be a hypocrite :D

when i mentioned the washer jets i meant headlight washer jets not the bonnet 1z, i thought it might look different (for show)

Anything which stops the leaves, muck and Sh*te disappearing down that cavity and aiding and abetting the rotting of the scuttle below the w/screen has got my vote !

The new Fab closes off this space with a bit of plasti-sheet and it doesn't look too bad, although, of course, the bonnet-line is higher.

A bonnet closer, as opposed to a lifter ! How strange

I like the pattern, it's just been adopted by the wrong sort as an overkill adornment for any part of their car they can cover the stuff in. You know, the sort of people who can't stop until they've changed every single piece of the car for a different, and usually tattier piece, and once they've done every piece they try to sell it, can't, then sell all the bits on eBay to similar idiots before starting all over again on their next Saxo/Nova/Corsa etc.

As I say, I might cover the b-pillars. A couple of quid off eBay, if it looks tat I'll remove it :D

Ive made a Front splitter in Proper carbon...i will get round to fitting it/taking pics someday!
