Have seen this car on Edition dude. Looking good, have been wondering about debadging my rear for a while, yours will look good and once you get round to dropping it, it will be spot on.

All the best,

Dave

i think she looks great,,wheels are TOTALLY different, and aerial is well cool..where did you get it, and how did you fit it..keep up the good work :-))

Nice and clean looking but needs Slamming :) What have you done with the holes where the skoda badge was?

Auditek- The airiel is from a honda, they come on most of the newish hondas, the one i have is fitted on the S2000 (slightly different to the civic ones). You just remove it off the threads, it will keep turning, then give it a good tug and it will come off.

The honda ones fit straight on, they dont sit totally flush on the base though.

VRSDale- I filled the holes with black sealer for the time being so no water would get in, i took it to the bodyshop at the start of the week to get the holes filled and the boot sprayed again.

I'll fire some pictures up at the end of the week. With the smoothness and the tints.

Whats the handling like with those wheels and tyres mate?

Dont really know yet, put them on, took it for a photoshoot and took it to the bodyshop.

I'm not really one for fast bends etc, after loosing my MK4 on a roundabout.

Ive not really tested the cars handling at all in the weeks ive had it.

But ridewise i'd say it was the same as when i had the 16" steelies on.

Fair enough mate, let us no when you get it on the road and give it a few fun corners!

Will look good once on the floor :) Get ride of your rear wiper though

Agh right i see. I'm getting mine welded up on the octy and resprayed ;)

I have the same wheels/tyres on my fabia, bar mine are the same width at the front. Handles fine, people bitch about stretched tyres being "dangerous" yet jap drift cars use them

Ohh and i need a new numberplate bulb! Boooo!

Pd160 intake and Cupra splitter ordered!

Looks awesome now!

Get it lowered!!!!!

I take it those are scott's rims from his bora, did he replace them with those bbs wheels?

What width are those wheels, i have some BBS LM wheels for winter wheels that are 17x8, also what size tyres are on them?

Aye there from his bora.

He's just put the standard alloys back on the now, the gearbox is out it so it's off the road at the moment.

Dont know when he's going to put the BBS's on it.

I'll get the sizes off it tomorrow and let you know.

I think, think they are 8's.

LM's should look nice.

I'll get it lowered at some point! :)

Looks much better with the Merc wheels. I really don't think the Borbets suit the Fabia. Although as you said, it's what you think that counts. I got a right roasting on the VX220 forum for the German plate on the back of my BM!:D

Will look really good once it's slammed.

Well, after about 5 hours on the car yesterday got my front and rear lights tinted and grill surround done.

The rear wiper came off nicelly to give it a bit more of a smooth look.

Removed the O/S foglight for maximum air into the cooler. Its cracked and brackets broken anyway.

Fitted my PD160 intake and a got cheekey map ;)

Need to do the grill again though at some point, not enough paint on it, just did 100 miles and theres a few stone chips on it already. :thumbdwn:

Like the look of it though, looks alot more agressive.

Dude,

I really like your Borbets. I'm having some AZEV 'A's fitted on friday.

Get it slammed!

Regarding the removal of the rear wiper.

Do you live in an area where they don't bother to salt the roads at all? :D

Around here, without my rear wiper I may as well be driving a van with no windows on the rear doors.

I de-wipered my Mk4 Golf too.

Looks awesome, but not too practical, a bit of rain-x will help it out though.

Blimey!

You dont hang about with the mods do you :D

Like the front end

But I dont like the rear lights or the alloys Im afraid,

But at the risk of repeating myself, If you like them thats all that matters

How easy or difficult was it tot do the front lights ??

How did you manage to take the front badge off when you sprayed the grill ,did you have to get a new one onse sprayed? thanks

Saw it in the flesh Sunday, front looks great, but the back lights weren't to my taste, a medium smoke tint may have looked better.
