Spare Cash

Featured Replies

I have some spare cash and was wondering

1, Do I buy the PD160 Intake & filter then a few months later get the car remapped ?

2, Get the car remapped then wait a few months then buy the PD160 Intake ?

Ok what would you guys do ??

pd160 & filter.. then remap then 312mmm discs

PD160, filter, exhaust, remap

Has anybody got any pics of the PD160 and filter fitted as iam pondering over the idea also.

Id be happy to take any spare cash off your hands :D

Id go for the filter and pd160 and then get it mapped unless your planning any other mods likes a new exhaust, turbo, FMIC etc and then id get all that put on the car and then get it mapped, it will save you remapping it again at a later stage and thus saving you some money:)

The only other thing I would get after the remap would be to lower the car and put it on new shocks

I had a polo16v before the vrs with powerflow exhaust and never again :( much of a pain lol

I would in this order do

  • Pd160 pipe + filter
  • jabba RARB
  • 312 audi brakes
  • miltek exhaust
  • sach organic clutch
  • allard egr blank
  • forge FMIC
  • then a custom map not a genric one

For that your looking at best part of 3k

Or you could just remap then kill your clutch then pop the seals in your turbo and crash because the vrs in standard form is pooo at cornering and braking.

arb, miltek, brakes, eibachs, then save like hell and go straight to stage 2 (fmic, clutch turbo etc) :)

I think i am at stage 1.5  just need the turbo and fmic for full satge 2
