5 Hours later!!

Featured Replies

Started cleaning my car at 9am this morning, finished at 2 and could have kept going!

1. Washed the car the two bucket way and using auto glym shampoo.

2. Using auto glym intensive tar remover, i worked on all those little black specs that you can see when up close to the paint.

3. Gave the car a clay barring using megs clay and quick detailing spray.

4. Polished the car using auto glym ultra deep polish.

5. Sealed the paintwork with auto glym extra gloss sealent.

6. Waxed the car with Collinite 476 wax.

7. Touched up all the plastic and rubber bits with auto glym bumper care.

Didnt have time to wash and treat the wheels or clean the windows so thats going to have to wait till next time!

The pics i took are from my phone so dont do it justice, but im very happy with the result!

Never used the clay bar before, but found it pretty straight forward to use and really makes a massive difference to the finished product!

Looks very nice indeed. I think the longest session I did was from 8.30 to 3.30 with a quick break for lunch. I was layering SRP though and did it inside at work.

Silver works well with the 476

Looks lovely!!

(PS, I'm not a fan of the door handle covers).

I've done silly long stints on the car. Tend to do the outside one weekend, interior the next, and a 3 monthly removal of the wheels for proper treatment...

Cut the old git out, also got rid of the red car in the background, did it on paint so its not a very good job! Was a nightmare getting his reflexion out of the window and bonnet!
