Hi

My radio on my Felicia 99 stays on for about 30 secs after I turn it off. Having the ignition on or off makes no difference.

I think I had this problem a few years ago shortly before the battery died. But I got a new battery last year.

Any ideas?

That's strange. Is it the stereo supplied as standard or a different head unit?

I suspect the ignition switched wire in the felicia is constantly on so the ignition would make no difference. It is possible to wire it so the appropriate wire is ignition switched but needs examination of the wiring diagrams and to determine which wire on the stereo connector needs to be switched.

My stereo works with or without the key and inserting and removing the key doesn't do a thing...

mine is the same as stu, key in or out the stereo is on, annoying if you forget to put it off!
