Golf Mk4 Leather From 3dr GTi into 02 Octy VRS

Featured Replies

One question really, would it fit?

Cheers

I believe it does, but you'll have seats which can be tilted forward whilst there is no need for them (3dr vs 5dr).

Ahh not fussed about that really, just bothered about getting the back seats fitting properly, its a lot of money to waste if they won't fit. Cheers

yes they fit and the rears fit fine too, eddy h fitted golf R32 interior into his octavia estate and the backs were a direct replacement and also JBS have a golf R32 interior in there octy vrs so can't see you having a problem

So will that mean that Audi A3 back seats fit? I'v got a set and they do look very similar. I'm trying to sort the looms for the electric seats then i'm going to give them a try.

What about Audi S3 Seats in that case then? I know they need wiring up as they are electric but fitting wise will they fit? The Golf interior has gone up the spout!!!!!

Front seats deffinately fit and i'll know about the rear seats hopefully by this weekend. I'v also got the wiring pretty much sorted now. Cost wise your looking at £600 all in.

Ive got full Golf leather recaros in my Octy 1 ;) Fit purfectly.

One tip, the seat belt on the rear centre seat only works when the seat is in the car, it has a release pin which operates once the pad is clipped back into the car in the vertical position.

as above i also have a 3dr golf interior in my octavia and it fits perfectly, i have both fron and rear seats :)

me too, I have Golf Recaros in mine. But not leather unfortunately.

I was bidding until it went totally stupid!!!!! Just shows how in demand these interiors are!!!!

I paid a grand for mine & got them off of one of the golf forums. I managed to get the full leather ones without the R32 emblem :):) I just think having the badge of another car emblazened on yours looks a tadge tacky. Might me worth you registering on one & see whats around

Some of the fabric ones also look very good out of the early GTi's & will give you the additional support needed, these should come out for a lot less.

I was at one point looking at getting some tatty fabric ones which would have been very cheap & getting them re trimmed in leather but kept looking & eventually found what I wanted.

Sorry, I know it's a little off topic, has anyone bought cloth recaros from the golf and got them retrimmed? if so would you mind letting me know roughly what you paid for the retrim

Thanks

I paid £570 for front and rear Recaro S3 leather. To be honest i may have been lucky as the pics didnt do it justice as they used a flash to take the pics. Plus i get the benefit of of electric AND heated seats. Mind you, you will need a remap to go with it as they weigh an absolute ton.
