Temporal Anomoly in Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

ahh Porsche... an essential part of any mid-life-crisis.

I hear they are giving away free bottles of "Just for Men" with every purchase.

Seriously, if it's driving excellence you're after, it's got to be the Audi R8. A much less overstated look and people won't think you're a sad, balding middle aged t*sser. Generally speaking of course!

No, I will continue to wear my rubber underpants, flip-flops and capped sleeve t-shirt, if that's ok?

LOL. Yep. Whatever turns you on!!!

Okay - Note to self....read what others write more carefully in future!!!

I read that the first time and thought you'd put Audi A8 and was a little puzzled :o

Ah, but I am a sad middle aged balding t0sser:D

Also my expected budget of £20k won't buy me an R8, but it will buy me a well cared for useable 911, that won't depreciate too much.

Is that ok?

For 20k i'd spend my money on a new Leon Cupra. Each to their own though :D

Right reality check people, the fabia is not a nice looking car if we are being true to are self. Nor is it really fast by todays standards.

C'mon lets all be real.

^ I disagree on both points

a) for looks, it's a matter of personal perception. there is no matter of fact answer to this.

B) it is fast compared with the average car you encounter on a daily basis. Especially if remapped

c) if you genuinely feel that the Fabia isn't that good, why bother wasting your time posting on a FABIA forum?

Resisting here.....

im definatly getting home quicker now its been re-mapped. its not just a little 130bhp car now its a 190bhp beast! and blacks the quickest its just most drivers dont see it coz its well cammo'ed :D

But who cares what people think - clearly you don't or you wouldn't have bought a Skoda?! I chose a car based on the driving experience and involvement and the 911 has that by the bucketload. Go drive one .... you never know, you might like it ;)

Chris

Will you also be buying some striped shirts with white collars, a filofax and a mobile phone the size of a housebrick as well as growing your hair such that you need a bucketload of wet-look hairgel to style it and saying things like "Okay Ya" it in order to complete the '80s yuppie image???? ;):D

Funnily enough, all this stuff is available as an optional extra when you buy a new BMW:confused::D

Another vote for the mighty 911.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Porsche 911.

Surely anyone who confesses to like cars MUST at least want to drive one.

I will own one, one day........

I was merely commenting on the stereotypical image of a Porsche driver.

As a Skoda driver, I obviously, am a Communist :D

Okay, I stand corrected.
