hi there everyone since i can no longer afford the wheels for my car due to personal circumstances so i am thinking about doing the following:

1) paint the front grille red - dont like the chrome at all lol

2) remove the side strips

3) paint the callipers red - hammorite smooth

4) and finally which is where i need your opinion glass black finish to the alloy wheels?

what does everyone think? i think black on red looks lovely and stealthy ha ha your opnions and pics greatly appreciated cheers

Do it all, apart from do the wheels graphite.

Personal opinion and all that, i think Graphite looks better, others will and do disagree!

I have to agree with youngsid, the graphite grey will look better as will anthracite. Black and red is so 80's.... *thinks back to people wearing black pants, shoes, shirt and red imitation leather tie*

Ditto the above, but I liked the green calipers. I was going to paint mine on my old Fabia TDi but never got round to it.

I would go for a satin black. I have a Wheel done gloss black and it looks ok, but wouldnt stay gloss for long.

Satin looks the dogs and stays looking clean the longest.

I agree with 'youngsyd'. I think the standard Alloys look crap in Black, although i do LOVE the Black Pro Race II's on Beedies Red Fabia, so your better getting the standard alloys in Anthracite. Heres another pic of Beedie's car with the chrome grill painted Red and side strips removed:thumbup: Hope he doesnt mind me posting these??
