Yes, with help from a heat gun to heat the adhesive up and help with removal then a bit of elbow grease with some Auto Glym Intensive tar remover

mine are mega mega glued on if you dont have a glue gun what another way thanks

Pick your computer up and throw it are the door strips - that should help to loosen them.

Alternatively, you may wish to try using it to search on www.briskoda.net

we just used hot water and they came away easy :) the just clean and polished :)

Chris

By removing your door stripes will give the car a clean looking appearance mate, but as others have said it is just held on with adhesive

I'm in a better mood today!

Have a look at http://www.briskoda.net/forums/fabia/fabia-door-strips/51980/ for more tips and tricks

Toffee wheels, caramel wheels, dental floss, fishing line, petrol, WD40, Tesco Club cards, screwdrivers wrapped in cloth - its got the lot

cheers mate going to have a go with a covered flt screwdriver this weekend fingers crossed lol

I wouldnt do that!!

Bucket of hot water,

Peel em off,

Then scrub away with either Auto Glym Intensive Tar remover £4 Halfords, or a rag and some petrol

I personally wouldnt put a screwdriver anywhere near my paintwork :thumbdwn:

why not mate? can i use a screw driver to take the initial lip up to then pull away cheers mate

yeah but be carful, usually hard metal objects and paint dont mix very well

Should come off easy enough with your hands

Extension lead and a hairdryer. Much easyness.

They will be harder to remove at this time of year. Nothing like leaving the car in the baking summer sun, to help loosen the glue.

One thing to keep in mind, especially if your car is used. If the door has been resprayed at some point and you remove the strip, you will end up with a line where the new laquer and old paint meet.

cheers guys this is my plan:-

cover a flat bladed screwdriver so it does not come in contact with the bodywork

then with a hairdryer/warm water start to easy it away

the car has not been sprayed i dont think lol and its an 06 plate so fingers crossed should be no fade

many thanks

fingers crossed

Mine was almost two years old when I took the strips off, absolutely no fade at all (red car). I used a hairdryer, a stool (for sitting) and my hands to pull them off. I considered a screwdriver but even trying to get that behind the strips when covered scared me so gave up before I started.

Start at the back and use your nails and it's easy enough. Once there's enough off to get a finger behind it's childs play. Last thing you want is to slip with a screwdriver and need to touch up the paint though.
