You have to be very careful as even some of the better products leave watermarks.

I always found Autoglym Interior Shampoo did a really good job and it's smells nice!

I've heard Shout is one of the best ways to clean the seats.

I tried this but they just sat there and ignored me

Ill get my coat

Second vote for autoglym interior shampoo. Great stuff.

I've used shout on my seats but think this has been discontiuned now

Try 1001 capet and upholstry cleaner. I used this on my Octy VRS grey inserts and it always did a good jod. Make sure you do the whole area and this helps prevent water marks!

I've always used the autoglym interior shampoo on my other cars but havn't on my vrs seats. Are there any hints on using it in the correct way for a good result, or just a case of get on with it and it will do a good job?

Best way to clean them for good is to take your car to Seat Surgeons in York, hand over the best part of 800 smackers and have them replace the stupid white seats with nice wipe clean leather. :D

Otherwise, I found Autoglym to do the job nicely. ;)

Sparingly with a cellulose sponge. Try not to concentrate too hard on one place

Terrible! :D

Another vote for Autoglym here.

Simply spray evenly, agitate problem areas with a sponge them wipe with a damp cotton cloth.

Allow time to dry (otherwise they'll get dirty again) then i find a quick vacuum is always good to finish the job.

And yes, it does smell rather nice. I found that the same stuff on a cotton cloth is also really good to wipe down the dash and door trims. I also reccommend Mr Sheen Leather wipes for the steering wheel, gear stick and handbrake. Gets rid of the all the dirt and grease whilst giving a nice finish with plenty of grip.

Another one for AG Interior Shampoo. Bought the foam can before xmas but haven't tried that on the seats yet. I spray the AG shampoo over the whole seat, use one of those large yellow sponges that the unconverted use to clean their cars to rub the shampoo into the seat, then use a little water on the sponge to remove the shampoo. Can leave the seats quite damp so it may be an idea to have the engine running, heating on full, windows open a little and maybe even a hairdryer lol!
