Can give me an idea of how realistic I am being to tackle fitting OEM roof bars to my Fabia Estate?

Also, where could I source the trim that fits along the roof (around the rails) afterwards?

All advice would be much appreciated. I can imagine myself biting off more than I can chew and ending up surrounded by internal trim everywhere! On the other hand, it would be nice not to pay a dealer a small fortune to do it..!

Bits may be cheap, but im sure the interior trims need changing too...

It isnt un-do-able (made up word or what!) just make sure you price everything up!

Not done it but as far as I know it's a straightforward job and all the bits should come with the roof rail kit - the existing black exterior trims simply peel out to reveal a channel with holes in for the rails to bot up to.

Did you ever end up doing this? I really want to add rails to my estate, think it looks silly without them.
