Light adjuster problem

Featured Replies

The switch in my 1.6GLXi that adjusts the pitch of the headlights has stopped working. You turn the dial and the lights don't budge at all. Is this fixable? Any ideas?

I've never seen _ANY_ car over about 2 years old with them working!

Mine doesn't work, but who needs them?

Mine are stuck on the lowest setting...

So I have to drive at night with my full beam on... It seems they are run by using a cable and not conventional motors like most cars...

You can adjust them manually at the light units themselves - they can be adjusted horizonatally and vertically. That might be better than using full beam all the time, and in their current state they might fail an MOT. Use a wall of a garage to raise them, I think it tells you in the haynes manual what the height should be.

It's got 12 months MOT on it!!!

It passed it's mot at the dealership with a shattered CV joint and an indicator lense that was not there... So I'm guessing it was done to just get rid of it!!!

Woo thats quite surprising - Im surprised it passed, thats usually what felly's fail on. I will have to take my car to your garage next time I want an MOT :D
