Featured Replies

My octavia is due for a service acording to the computer. Its on the variable service thing. Its done 81k so whats in this service and wheres the best place to go. Im in Derby

80k is a major service.

80k, as mine is due in 4k should just be filters and brake fluid, 60k is the major one, unless you haven't had your timing belt/water pump done.

Yours is a diesel isn't it?

40k and 80k are major service.

every 40 and 80k= new plugs, air filter, oil change, and general inspection.

brake fluid change every 2 yrs

Air filter and platinum plugs last 40K

Intermediate service= oil change and inspection.

Thats the way skoda serviced mine anyway.

The air filter lasts 40k?!

Thats a lot! Id be doing it every 10k or so. Bi-yearly in mine I think.

Yep every 4yrs or 40k, haynes backs this up.

I think its crazy i would never let mine go that far.

For servicing try DSB in Nottingham I rate them very highly, details can be found with a search.
