Replacement Tyres

Featured Replies

Please help!

The OE Continental Sport Contact 2s are due for replacement but despite frantic searching on the forums I can't really see a definitive answer for the best tyre to fit. Do I:

1. Re-fit Conti SP 2s

2. Try Conti Sport Contact 3s

3. Something else.

Money is not a major issue i.e I don't want a budget tyre but grip/wet weather performance/wear are considerations. I have managed 23k on the OE tyres (does this mean I'm not driving hard enough?)

Your help/experiences would be much appreciated.

Thanlks.

Khumo are a good tryre on the Fabia vRS.

Not a fan of Conti's myself.

I concur.

Cheap too. Got mine for £58.00 each

1. No

2. No

3. Yes

Suggestions include Falken FK452, Toyo T1-R. Kumho KU31. Depends on budget and availability in your tyre size.

I got Continental SportContact2 with my car, and they didn't convince me at all. The sidewalls were too flexible, and they didn't last long. Now I've got Pirelli P-Zero Nero and they're in a different league. Also independent tyre test rate this tyre very high (the highest).

So my recommendation is P-Zero Nero.

I vote for these: Falken FK452.

Good grip in wet and dry, cheapish, and seem to last forever.

Had the Hankooks last time - didn't like them - gone back to PZero Nero's

I'm with UWO!

Got a pair of P-Zero Nero's on the front and they seem excellent!
