I have a 2nd key fob for my fabia vrs, Iv just came across this guide:

Guess if it all goes to plan it will save me paying £35 to dealers to get my key progammed

Just a few questions:

Is VAG COM easy to use?

Which exact cable do I need for my fabia VRS?

Which version of software do I need for that cable from www.ross-tech.com?

what else can I do with VAG-COM, can I tune my own car?

I'd have a search here first and maybe a look in the VAG-COM section.

VAG-COM is pretty easy to use but you'll need to take your time and be careful.

You cannot chip tune or remap your car with VAG-COM.
