After spending many hours looking through so many threads bout noisey suspension:confused: i thought i would start a new one as couldnt find an answer.

Ive got an 04 vrs which has normal road noise and the odd creak but its getting worse and it seems to be once ive gone over a pot hole or any country road when the car is bouncing. Ive heard people talking bout bump stops and was wondering if these go or what else it could be.

Is it in warranty?

I had a creak coming from my front suspension when I first got mine.. ended up being front roll bar.. something to do with a plastic washer has snapped - design fault and was replaced with a metal one under warranty rather vague but may be of some help

Almost certainly arb bushes. Ideally you should change the bar and bushes.

Anti roll bar part number S1J0411305AD £54 + VAT

Bushes Part number S1J0411314S £3.87 + VAT X2

I can give you some new bushes and save you the best part of a tenner if you want

cheers for your help its in the garage next week so will get them to have a look. I brought it second hand from a non skoda garage and i did get some warrenty so will check to see if it covers it.

Can you physically see it when the front ARB goes?

doh i mean bushes?

just done my arb bushes amongst other things.. the standard bar has plastic sleeves between the bush and the bar - problem is if the sleeve gets loose either through wear or corrosion which leads to the need for a new bar.

Alternatively (what I did) you use 19mm TT bushes and remove the offending sleeves, running the bush direct on the bar.

Other possibility is the radiator mounts. IIRC this is a known fault

lol i didnt realise that engines could make noiseys. its in the garage so gettin them to have a look.

An update on this noise, ive heard back from the garage and they couldnt find anything wrong but prob gonna get the ARB bushes and front ARB changed just to be on the safe side.

ARB (anti roll bar) BUSHES DUDE

Just make sure its not a squeak.

The radiators tend to move on the octys. Place hand at the bottom of the radiator and push forward a few times listening for the squeaking.

ill def check that out before i fork out on new bushes.
