cleaning this weekend

Featured Replies

Providing its warm enough and dry enough im gonna attempt to clean the car.

Im still to get some general cleaner, but.

1. gonna jetwash the car to remove what i can first.

2. foam the car with the new attachment i have and hopefully the general cleaner.

3. give it a wash with AG shampoo

4. rinse then check for tar and other body stickies and remove with the tar remover.

5. repeat 1-3 then rinse

6. dry the car

7. use the AG resin

8. AG Gloss

9. AG aqua wax

10. collinte (if i have time)

Will give the inside a good going over on the sunday and will try and remember to get some pictures too!!

Sounds good - worth waxing the wheels too - Jetseal is excellent or Poorboys / Chemical Guys stuff :)

Also, dress the tyres - makes a big difference!

Looks good, although you can take out 8 & 9 from the process and go from Super Resin Polish (SRP) straight to the Colly:thumbup:

Enjoy:cool:

i spent 4 hours this morning, jetwash basically freezing on the car, got the job done by lunchtime and used all the above along with another product after AG gloss stage from AG (cant remember its name) which is meant to bring out the colour in dark cars. Just got the windows to do again and the inside of the car which will be done tomorrow, so far it looks like new again!!

cheers guys, it makes me feel so much better knowing that my numb hands were worth it and that being only covered by a thin t shirt (and probably looking stupid/mad) out in such low temputres.

Wax did seem to apply better
