Featured Replies

Want to remove the maxidot from my car for obvious reasons in that the speedo or fuel gauge still dont work :(

I have the orginal dash pod........ will this still be coded for my keys and car???

I.e do i have to go back to dealer for skc code to swap it back or can i just swap it ?

thanks in advance

I am a wuss and dearnt do it, what if they both then wont work

Sure you'll be fine.

When I've fitted used dash panels in the past you log in with the SKC of the used panel and then with the SKC for the old (original) panel to code the keys, given that I think that it should be OK.

When I was trying on mine the original always worked just plugging back in, never had to recode it.

Bit of a bummer about it not working at all :(

when me and stu had problems coding my maxidot we were swapping back and forth.

Is there nobody with a factory fit fabia maxidot you can copy the coding from??

Wont make the same mistake twice ;)

I knew that was the case with the octy II and had an idea it was the same for the Fabia.

Glad you had it all sorted though.
