I have a 2001 Fabia 1.4 16 V,

I have flickering lights problem,

Generally my lights are flickering when it s parked. I have no PAS lights on. But Engine Management light is on. And the last problem is one of the rear break light is not working when pushing the break.

The dealer told me to change the lambda sensor for Engine Management Light problem and change the electronic box that controls locking system for "Flickering Lights Problem".

After I read the threads here, I m confused about what might be the reasons of these problems?.

Do u have any idea what might be the reason of these problems?

I have a very similar problem too!

I used to have and still have intermittent PAS light on (weather is steering working or not) and sometime flickering lights.

I had the battery replaced a few months ago anyway - even if I thought it may be the sensor as I believe I may have the old plastic type - after 6 years, it is worth having the battery replaced anyway (by Barmoor Garage Ltd).

After a while, the same problem started again and today for the first time I get the Engine Management light on !

Any help?

When my lights flickered, it was the PAS sensor - got that replaced and it was fine. Another common problem with the electrics.
