How much oil in a Fabia vRS???

Featured Replies

Ok i've got my thicko head on tonight...... Can't find this anywhere.

How much oil goes in the vRS when it has an oil change???? Is 5 litres enough??? I've got some Magnatec i bought when i first got the car in case it burnt it like there was no tomorrow but it never did. I've just found it today and thought i'd use it when it gets it's 20k service in a couple of weeks.

Cheers

Dave.

IIRC the capacity is 4.5 litres. your user manual will tell you for certain.

Pollen filter was an upgrade i did a couple of months ago...... I changed both cars over to the carbon infused filters.

I meant to use the oil when it had it's first service but forgot.... It was on offer in Halfrauds just before i bought the car and sods law the bugger didn't burn much at all in it's first few miles!!!!!

Me too!

Though i haven't noticed any benefits up to now as i very rarely sit in traffic. One of the few benefits of shift work. It has cured the annoying high pitched squeal

Magnatec oil is not 505.01,iirc.
