Does anyone out there know if the 17" alloys from an Octy vRS will fit on a Fabia vRS? I have a set that I may be selling and just want to check.

They will, but the tyres will be just a tiny bit too big!

I am considering getting a set of Octy 17"s for my Furby. It will depend however on how much I can get for my Furby alloys + tyres so I can work out the cost to change.

Octy RS alloys will fit, but you need to drop down to 40 series tyres as opposed to the standard 50's on the Octavia.

Get the tyres taken off and sell the wheels and tyres seperatley. Should be plenty of Fabia owners that would want the wheels and plenty of Octavia owners that would have the tyres for track useage.

How much will you be looking for for just the alloys Si?

Dont know how much I'll want for the alloys and it all depends if I can get the new set that I'm after anyway. If I do manage to get them I guess I'll just put them up for offers. Will keep you posted!

Hmmm... Definitely tempted now looking at 200 quid or so to change.

If anyone wants to sell me some Octy wheels and anyone else is interested in some Furby alloys on 6K mile tyres (in very good nick as I do a lot of gentle boring driving), let me know.
