dv what spring to use in it

Featured Replies

hi there i got a new re circ valve off e bay a few weeks ago and it come with 3 springs soft med hard and i am wondering what one to use andd what the difference is the car has been re mapped and a piper cross panel filter

What brand is it?

I've got the forge 007, remapped and peak at just over 16psi.

I'm using the yellow sping at the moment (medium) and it seems to be alot smoother than the green spring (light).

My 007 is yellow as well (not Bond)

i think its runing about 210 bhp at the mo but dont seem to have much tourqe?

I'm using a forge with the green spring and it's fine.

If it holds the pressures on the weakest spring then thats the one for you.

The dv needs to release when your foot is taken off the pedal or it will put extra stress on the turbo fins.

In forges case the green or yellow spring is fine on a remapped Vrs.

Probably the best thing to do would be to contact the seller and see what pressures each spring will hold.
