A remap is a deffo!

Well all depends on what you are looking at doing, if you are looking for performance gains do a search for 're-maps', if you are looking for styling on vRS i would search for 'grills', 'cupra splitter' and 'alloys', if you are looking for handling i would search for 'coilovers', 'seat strut brace' and 'rear anti roll bar'.

Many many posts already running on these items for the vRS lots of mods available.

Thanks guys, I'll seach for those things. I'm interested in power without sacrificing too much in the way of economy. My car at present is a Mitsubishi Colt CZT which is fast but thirsty!

My previous car was a Colt (although not the CZT) and the Fabia is a million times better!

I'd say you should concentrate on the handling side of the Fabia first... they're not the best handling car! :P

Eibachs, FSD's and ARBS would be a good start

A nice little budget mod would be a PD160 intake... but once you've got your handling sorted out you are basically ready to go nuts on the whole performance front

No point in going fast if the car can't stop or go round corners

and the current setup can't handle the standard power

No point in remap without a clutch first, just a matter of time before it goes poof

Maybe there should be a 'sticky' at the top of each model section, containing keywords to search for :rubchin:

Don't quite agree with the essential clutch replacement with a remap either. All depends on how aggressive the remap is, and how you drive the car. I know plenty of people who've had good service from standard clutches on remapped cars.

Money will be an issue, I do fancy a remap though as at the moment my colt is running 174Bhp, and 189lb/ft Torque, so I don't wanna loose to much power. One idea I started over on coltclub.eu, was at the top of each model was a sticky topic covering all the mods available for the car, I found it useful... Just an idea guys!
