Guys, I tried searching the forum to no avail. My question is regarding Servicing.

I brought my 55 VRS from a stealership and I was under the impression that one received free services for the first 3 years life of the car. Is this not the case as I see people have forked out for their first service, etc. ?

When I had my previous Golf all that stuff was done under warranty for the first three years.

I don't know if you're getting the two mixed up. With warranty you get 3years/60,000 miles of warranty work covered. But servicing is a different thing, it would depend on the dealership and offers they had on at the time as to whether there would be any free servicing.

i got told that the servicing wasnt covere dunder the warrantly an that a full service would be in xcess of 200+

Skoda did offer 3yrs free servicing on the Mk2 about 12-18 months ago.

Check your agreement to see if you purchased during such an offer
