I've just taken delivery of the new JVC range for this year. I have to say that the new JVC KD-LHX501/2 unit is amazing.

It comes with a huge spec list including 24 D/A convertor. Multi colour screen which is also touch screen. Motorised aluminium face (501 silver, 502 black), 3 x 5 volt preouts, remote control, etc etc etc Oh and it will talk to you !!

So for those of you looking for a CDA-9812RB/9830/31/33 type unit and want something a lot more stylish then have a look at this unit... It looks great in black and I might just drop one into the vRS for a couple of days to try it out...

That look's very good. What's the JVC kit like for reliability ? - I've always liked the look of the Alpine gear - but never had deep enough pockets!!

I've had their stuff before and the sound quality was so bad I swore I would never touch it again!

Chap at work has just bought one, he reckons the sound is ok and the touch screen is fun. it can also play avi files as a screen saver.
