A little advice please

Featured Replies

Just got me a 1998 Felicia 1.3 estate as a second car, found a few problems already after looking through this forum, the gearbox oil coming up the speedo cable and a back door refusing to lock sometimes, never had a Skoda before and im impressed with it.

I would like to ask a question if i may bout mk4 Polo/mk4 Golf side/wing indicators fitting my car, would like some smoked indicators i have seen on the Awesome website but they don't stock them for the Felicia. May i also say how friendly this place is after reading a few pages worth of the forum.Have been a member on a few other forums and they don't come near this one for advice and also the lack of idiots.

Keep up the good work many thanks Si

looking at pics of the golf and felicia they look the same, so i would guess they fit. I doubt that they would be expensive in any case.

Awesome list them at £15 a set with orange blulbs, had a look round the work car park (strange looks all round) today and they do look the same and Audi A3s look the same aswell.

Skoda part numbers

6U0 949 101 A - side turn signal 06.95 onwards

6U0 949 101 B - side turn signal grey 04.98 onwards, I assume these would fit 06.95 onwards and are just a cosmetic improvement introduced in 04.98.

Approx price I have is £18.10 each side (think it includes the bulb) - I imagine they'd be a little cheaper. Give your local dealer's parts line a call to confirm the price.

In the diagrams the 98 golf ones look different internally although they share the part number with the first 3 digits changed to 3A0. Not sure if that means they're the same or not, but the VW one's are cheaper.

Thats great i will ring my local Skoda garage just found it on the net in Bilston.

Going to have a go at the gearbox filter aswell and try and get rid of the smell of oil in the footwell !

You need to be careful when trying to get clear lenses for your indicators, I tried doing this and got some Golf ones from Motorworld, and they weren't right at all! Totally different fitting, and the clips were difffent to the felly. The shape is also slightly different to the Felicia! Ironic or what.

I would try JM Butts of Bawtry, they will have the correct ones for the Felicia.

If it helps, I got a set of eBay... They fitted a treat (Although, I broke a clip and used super glue... Then had a side repeater stuck to my hand whilst screaming like a girl... Walking into A+E like a moron with one of those stuck to your hand... Excellent lol!)

I also got some from ebay and one of mine broke or rather i broke it, i found they kept popping out of the wing, broke a clip trying to bend them out so they stayed in the hole. I ended up binning them

Looks like it's probably best to pay the £££ to the sdealers and get the genuine ones.
