I have to go against every1 else here, but I dont like it mate. look quite tackie

each to their own though, as long as u like it

Sir needs some black wheelage to finish it all off. :)

have to admit I was one of the ones who thought it was tints, but in my defence it was a picture on a text message ;)

Am impressed by the pillars, and tempted to get some for myself.

As far as the wheels are concerned, were you thinking matt or gloss (or even anthracite ?)

mmm im not really a fan :o

black wheels

Gorgeous!

I think I'll try yellow pillars on my black vRS.

Combined with yellow wheels it'll be.......distinctive.

Put this to the votes I was thinking of gloss black for the wheels for the car, what do others think?

Here is a wee taster as done by Mark from scottish vag, not a great chop but shows what can be done, this was done before the b pillars were done.

i think his photoshop skills are awful

i really do think the car will suit black wheels though ;)

Black Octy alloys with Eibachs would look schweeet

I'm getting tempted by the octy wheels now, I've got to stop this modding lark but i've been bitten big time.

Davy

Cheers I'm on the net looking at people who can do the wheels the now.

Davy

I know a guy that does them. Mucho cheapo but a superb job. He's done a set of wheels on my mates Cooper S and they look amazing! very very shiny lol

Powdercoated??

Details please

Not powdercoated (as yet but he's working on it!) The job he does is superb, uses LOADSA laquer n upteen coats of paint. The wheels he done for my mate are still perfect n thats after a good few months of hard driving! lol Well recomended!

Looks nice like that.

A nice subtle modification that really does the trick.

Black wheels will look amazing!

the anthracite wheels don't look too bad with the yellow, but this is Sprint yellow, not Lemon like yours:

think i'm getting mine powdercoated satin black for around £25/per wheel (maybe £30).

wheres that about keith?

someone Andy @ Magma knows, he is getting his girlfriends vrs wheels done anthracite, may be able to get them done at a good rate if we get a few sets done, i dont want anthracite for my car tho which is why i'm going for satin black.

that sounds a plan

I think you need BLACK wheels, NOT anthracite though.

Try and get a powdercoated finish if you can.

Also, it may be worth buying a set of tatty wheels to get refurbed, and keep your set immaculate, you may be able to work it so the cost to upgrade is tiny :)

Saw you (well it was your good lady driving) at the Shell garage at Crewe Toll last Friday at 7pm (was just coming out of work).

Was going to flash but there were too many cars about that might have got confused!

I think black wheels would look ace. If you're going down the route of getting them painted you should try and find out the paintcode for the wheels on the Lightning Yellow Edition Vauxhall VX220.

I had one and the wheels had a kind of yellow pealescent fleck through them. Looked awesome.
