Karcher PW

Featured Replies

My Karcher went up in smoke at the weekend, 12 years old, so i've had my moneys worth !

I'm looking to replace it with another Karcher, but there seems to be so so many out there.

Budget is around £150.

There's a lot of good deals that come with all the accesories, but i have them all already, so not fussy for them, but it has to be a Karcher, as thats what my foam lance fitment etc are.

Any recomendations ?

Cheers guys. :)

Have you tried doing a Google on Karcher +forum? (Assuming you're not wanting to focus on ebay.) It'll probably turn up things like Money saving expert forum, with recommendations for Quidco and similar money-back sites and special codes for money off or free delivery. Could post on here in the "Wanted" section?

Regards

Cheers Mo.

Not looking to buy second hand/Ebay, so any good deals from suppliers would be good.

Will check out what you posted.

i just bought a karcher from argos at the weekend, paid 120 for it, should be 140 but its on offer. I might have been able to get it cheaper online, but i needed it there and then.

have you tried kelkoo.com?

I got my K399 from Halfrauds for £99 a few weeks ago.

Good luck!

Halfrauds are all sold out on those deals i'm afraid.

If it had broken a week earlier i would've been laughing !

I got my Karcher KB4040 last year for just under £150.

It is a model only available from B&Q, although quite large, i like the internal storage it offers.

Hmm...might pop round to B&Q at lunch and take a peek at what they have.

Thanks for that.

Dunno how the price stacks up but I saw a K2900 at Costco earlier today for I think 75ish inc VAT... I was tempted but the girlfriend wouldn't let me :o

LIttle update.

Had to opt out of buying a decent one, as i had to get 4 new tyres for the car, so i went onto Ebay, bought an "A Grade" reconditioned one, 6 months warranty for £29.99. (K2900m) no extras, but that doesnt matter as i have them already, so even if it only lasts a year or so, i cant complain at that price. :)

let us know how you get on with it as i might be interested in upgrading mine.

Will do. :)

For that price i'm not fussy if it only lasts a year tbh !

Costco have a few nice karchers,

i got mine from ebay, one of them catalogue returns jobbies!

Well my "grade a" return job arrived on friday, and promtly washed the car for the first time in 2 weeks.

Works very well, and much more powerfull than my old one.

So for £29.99 i cant complain at all. :)

Good Ho! Perhaps just need to watch out for low flying birds now... ;)

I got a recon Karcher (KW399 iirc) from Ebay from an authorised repair agent, mint condition with 12 month warranty, £69 inc attachments and Lance etc.

Mines was only a 2900, but seems to do the trick.

Didn't need all the attachments so it was a bonus getting one on it's own.
