Just got the sony bluetooth handsfree kit. I was thinking of removing the ashtray and mounting in the hole so that with the lid closed there is no display that some nob might mistake for a satnav and smack a window in to nick it! I've read stu's guide on the adding kit to the standard hu so I'mjust waiting for the dealer to get the bits. Any advice on fitting this would be appreciated!

Just got this thing installed, A fair amount of skin shredding and swearing but not too bad. VRStu's guide on the HU wiring was invaluable. I decided to put the screen at the top of the windscreen. Seemed that driving along looking in the ashtray would defeat the point of a handsfree kit! Headless driver and all that:eek: Works very well with my sony phones and the standard HU.
