I just bought a Fabia 1.4 8 V from a dealership. A week after buying it I found a puddle of oil underneath it. I don't trust the Skoda dealer I bought it from as they have already cheated me by not giving me the 12 month mot they promised. I took it to a local garage who said the oil filter was not fitted properly (so much for a quality dealer oil change and service) and that there was oil leaking from the base of the engine. They thought it was the sump oil seal. Having read the comments on here I am now worried about the gasket, especially as the coolant seems to be cloudy. Can anyone help?
