Eibach ARB

Recommended Posts

I have been offered an Eibach ARB for my Octavia 1.9Tdi.

It is off a Bora 1.8T.

The picture I have been sent shows a part number of 41 85 005 01 VA.

I can not find that anywhere, and the one for the Octavia seems to be 40 85 005 01, would this be the same one?

Thanks in advance guys.

Chris

Get onto Eibach and ask them, as the front/rear springs/shocks are totally different in poundage between the Bora and the Octy vRS.

Might also be the reason for different part numbers.

Just do it:cool: Its the same as the one on my Red Octy, makes a hell of a difference to the handling:D Piece of cake to fit as well.

Encouraging the poor lad to spend him money on mods to make his car handle better.:)

Also, What is the difference between the small and large hooped versions.

The one I have been offered is the large hooped version.

I have been told it gives more clearence on the driveshaft, is this correct, and is it what i need?

Cheers everyone.

and what is a fair price for one?

Thought it was the rear arb.If it's just the front i personally wouldn't buy it as the hooped bars are designed for cars that have been lowered.

Is it the kit or just the front?
