went to go to work yesterday and when i started the car up (mk 1 vrs octy) noticed car very lumpy on idle then went to drive off after it had warmed up then realised car was running on 3 cyls gladfully had the lend of another car to get to work in. As i have only owned the car a month and a bit phoned the dealer and without hesiatation picked up the car from my door fixed it (under warranty off course) and returned it the vary same day for which im so gratleful. It was a coil pack by the way however when i went into work this morning and went to check the oil trying to put the dipstick back in found it very hard discovered the guide of the dipstick the orange part was snapped in 2 and took my 15 mins gentle prodding to get back in when i phoned him again he didnt seem interested is this common for these to be broken and what should i do?

Any help gratefully accepted cheers

The coil pack yes and dip stick no.

Id just take it in mate and get them to sort it if its still under warranty
