me likey the height but not the wheels I'm affraid

each to their own though:)

Very nice but i'd be a little concerned with the tire width going that low, if your right saying there 225's i'd be wary,

I just changed mines from 205/40/17's to 215/40/17's and the 215's in my opinion are the ideal size on a fab

I have a few questions about the coilvoers are they galvanised steel or zinc plated stuff?

Galvanised is the same as zinc plated. V-Maxx are that.

ah right ok. hmmm cheers lads.

are you worried about corrosion with galvanised struts?

Personally, I wouldn't be.

Did you get the droplinks done with it?

Do any other coilovers expect you to use different droplinks when lowering on the polo platform?

everywhere ive looked it says you MUST uprate the droplinks

you can get em on europerformance £29

I was told I'd need them on the Fabia with the V-Maxx kit if I went below 40mm.

Where do the droplinks fit? The guy I spoke to said it's to clear the ARB so I'm guessing the front, although I've got a Jabbasport rear ARB fitted too.

Yeah we had the drop links done as well as weve dropped 60mm

Chris

At what kinda drop are the drop links to be replaced?

40mm

There is a place near me that will supply and fit this VMAXX kit for £299 + £100 + VAT.

Good deal or not?

I think its pretty good!

Gwent Audi and VW centre.

I've done some research and from what I've read

Jamex, Gmax, JMO, Vmaxx

are all the same coilovers made in Holland/Belgium just restickered.

V-Maxx are the manufacturer. Jamex, GMax, Pi, etc just rebox it and normally whack another £50-150 on for the privilege.

could you write up a review of these at some point if possible.

were the struts greased when fitted?

Charlie's going to write a review at the end of the week once shes had a week of going back and forth to work.

I've had a quick read of those links and it's just a bunch of people slagging of a product they have never used???

We looked into this before we brought and found reviews with people very happy with v-Maxx both in the US and Europe I'll see if i can dig out some links :)
