I've been looking on other forums and the general consensous is that the octy doesn't sound great. I've always been into how cars sound my current car is a peugeot 306 GTi which has a great induction note and I've added a nice exhaust which pops and bangs on the over run **** I know but I like that type of thing I've scoured youtube for any videos so I could hear the skoda at full chat and have found nothing. :confused:

How do these cars sound? I'm really hoping to buy one and while part of me wants it for the added refienment over my pug I still want something I'd be happy to drive with the steeo off. Links to videos would be great.

Quiet and wafty, however you get lots more growls and chuffs from the engine when its remapped! Thats with a stock engine.

they sound ok with a stainless on them I get induction noise from my CAI.

I have always thought the octavia exhaust note was understated and a little disapointing. I dont want too loud but it would be nice to hear it when its floored and have a nice burble on tickover :(

The turbo back blueflame does sound nice and has a good turbo spool whistle. I have a clip of my car but i daren't put it on youtube along side the 300bhp monsters

a turbo car will never sound as good as a non-turbo'd one. purely for the fact that the exhaust turbine absorbs most of the exhaust noise.

i think the vRS sounds beefy when your hammering it though! has a nice deep roar at high revs.

A Skyline with stainless at full chat coming towards you sounds awesome.. better than any n/a car short of something V8 or Italian lol

Did the spool time increase with the sport cat + cat back for you?
