Leaves mulched on grid at foot of windscreen

Featured Replies

Finally got around to moving leaves that get trapped in gap at top of bonnet but some have mulched into gunge blocking the grid that runs across, on my 1.4 mpi 8V.

What best to do please? I could pick the grid holes out with a crochet hook, or "flush 'em through", but it looks like the grid goes to the inside so muck out rather than muck in, as it were?

Many thanks

Mo

I didn't think you did technical issues Mo.

Sorry I can't help you:)

You always flip it round to knitting Mo eh ? ;)

But what I have used in the past is a stiff paint brush and they seemed to mulch into a pile I was able to get my fingers into.

Jet wash in a garage?

Hi and thanks. Think I might go with the brush method and perhaps a vacuum and see if the bits left in the vent grid dry out then. As it looks like it's an air intake, I'm not inclined to water-jet it. Think I'll go for the "better than it was" solution for now :)
