Hi i have a skoda felicia 1.3mpi p reg im having problems with it the battery light isent showing up whe ignition on or at anytime. ive put another alternatour on and still nuffink and when car is runnnig the lights go dim and engine cuts out where there is no power in battery. checked voltage and its putting out 13 13.5 could anyone help me??

Battery light not working may be due to a duff bulb in the instrument panel or connector somewhere. Test the bulb by putting the sidelights on and substituting appropriate bulbs.

You may need a new voltage regulator.
