I noticed yesterday that the top search button on my stereo flashes red with the key out of the ignition. Is this normal, i'e linked to the immoboliser or do i have a problem? I know there will be a fault code logged 17705 (thanks jabba) so maybe it will be that.

Perfectly normal,its the radio security led. You can turn it off in the radio options menu if it bothers you.

Yup, agree 100%, its the radio saying "i'm security enabled"...or more like "nick me please".

The fault code is a pressure drop between turbo and inlet manifold.

Check DV

Boost pressure pipe revision (C is the latest IIRC)

Do a TB alignment with VAG COM.

I notice you've had a Jabba map so i'd take a peek at the pressure pipe as it's know to leak boost and the DV if it's still the standard one. (Only if you have not done so already).

I'm no expert but it worked for me
