Once you car has been "viewed" by the dealer how long do you normally wait before Skoda UK get back to you? Loders Skoda in Yeovil took some pictures 3 weeks ago and I have not heard a peep back.

Give them a call and chase it up Matt.

No idea about Skoda, but ford got back within 2 weeks and possibly less.

Took about 1 week for Claybank, Manchester to get verdict after sending photos.

I have emailed the Dorchester branch, and I'll give the Yeovil branch a prod as well....

It is bad working on Portland at the moment, car is covered in a layer of salt everyday :-(

A bit OT - but I reported rust on the bonnet of my 2.5 year old Kia Sedona last summer. They took pictures at the time (car was in for a service).

MK Kia failed to return any of my six or seven phone calls (about one a month) since then, and was one of the factors in my selling the car. Oddly eough, every time I called the person dealing with it was out of the office. oh yeah

At three weeks by those standards, it's still early! Hope you have better luck than me! How long is the warranty on Skodas for rust anyway?
