Hi,I bought a 2002 1.9tdi Fabia estate about five weeks ago and it says in the manual I can run 100% biodiesel which I have been doing for the past month.I have done about 1300 miles and the only problem I have had is it taking a couple of turns to start on cold mornings.Am I doing any long term damage and do I now need to change the fuel filter,if so how? Thanks:confused:

Might be the glowplugs that need to warm op more, because of the fatter bio diesel oil.

Or maybe even dead glowplugs.

You will not run right it 100% no matter what blend, it just doesn't like it especially in the cold. You really only want to run about max 50% on something like b100. Your not really doing any long term damage but you will have to replace your fuel filter probably every 10k. It's just a straight swap and it's the canister with the three pipes attached to it on the front left of the engine bay.
