i have a 1997 skoda felicia 1.3mpi she has 87000 miles on her but when i putt out at a junction or have full lock on there is a knocking noise coming from the cv joint i have being quoted by skoda £100 per side for a new cv joint does anybody know where i can get them cheaper or hwo to fix it ? regards tom

:)Grahams Jorrily ebay shop is your best bet for parts. Does it make the noise on left or right bends/lock? Are there any split gaiters?

its when its on right hand lock then the noise disapears when theres about half lock on, i dont think there are any split boots as i replaced then couple of months ago when i done the clutch worth a check though could that cause the problem? regards tom

i ended up getting them from a local scrap yard in the end they were taking out of a mk2 felicia with 15000 miles on them all the nocking has gone now
