Just changed my faulty ignition switch on my 98 Felicia , tested the switch with airbag disconected i.e started engine without airbag connected. Now with the bag reconected the warning light stays on after the 4sec self test flash.

I am assuming that the only way to reset the light is with vag com, and that the problem occured because I turned on ignition with it disconnected?

light on because the air bag system has detect high resistance ie. unplugged just needs the air bag control unit fault memory deleted.
