he dash on the fabia - is there neway of changin the lights from the standard to say like a blue like a golf or sumthin? im imagin this wud be a bugger of a job too. just wondered if anyone else had attempted or done it an if it was a succes??

Grrr - Get rid of the txt speak and I'll answer it

think you'll need to be handy with a soldering iron as far as I know they are all on the main board and have to be chipped off and new ones soldered on.

personally wouldn't bother

i dont mind the text talk:D although i do try not to talk in it myself (not allways successful :()

If youv'e got a petrol MKI fabia, this might interest you

Skoda Fabia - plasma dashboard gauges RW-A - for benzin model : Skoda Tuning = superskoda.com

Those gauges look good, the only problem is that the speedo is in Km/h.

There are alot of surface mount LEDs to change for the illumination, not a soldering job for the faint hearted, also if you mess your dash panel up the car may not start.
