Fitting Front Bumper Spoiler

Featured Replies

Having just sold my old wheels for a princely £70, my thoughts naturally turned to what I could spend the cash on. :D

I've been looking at getting an OEM front spoiler fitted for a while (like this one):

?koda Accessories

I think it really improves the look of the front end on the pre-facelift Fabia. However, the price of £180 (+ Paint) put me off a bit.

Then I spotted a dealer in Cardiff advertising the exact same part on eBayfor £50 +£30 P&P as they were having a clearout - result!

Now I am wondering how much of an undertaking is it to fit one of these myself? Is it a DIY task, or should I leave it to the experts? Has anyone fitted one themselves? Any tips/advice?

They look good i think you should do it, and pay for it to be done properly...

DO IT MAN!!!

I've already bought it, so it's definitely happening. How much do you reckon it'd be to get it done at a bodyshop?

just depends on the cost of paint and labour.

When i had the rover it cost me £650 to have a bodykit fitted and sprayed... Haggle i gues heheh

does make it look alot better

I'd say no more than £60-70ish to be fitted and sprayed at a bodyshop

try sprayforce in moreton behind the shel garage. i get all my work done there an they are awesome. pro paint jobs too. an i reckon hel do it for a really good price.ask for craig when you go in.
