Hi every1

got my car dyno'd 2day with intake mods

car was 180bhp standard/180 torque

now with carbonio, forge tip and a power gasket shes makin 186bhp/184torque

so at least its goin up, not by much but when exhaust is on should increase more.

Ialso got a 6 hour map which she got dyno'd after and was making 210bhp/208 torque

she now feels amazin, an its adjusting, didnt feel that different at 1stbut now, WOW. got

0-60 down to 6.6, had 7.2 standard, gonna be gutted when it goes

cool:thumbup:

The ECU controls everything on modern engines, my old setup was only 190bhp before it was remapped, I had; FMIC, CAI, TIP, 3"dp and 100 cell and 2.5" system. After a Jabba custom remap it went to 245-250bhp with similar torque levels.

Get down to Jabba and get some more ponys you will never look back , though you will have to hide credit card as modding is a slippery slope:D

Oh yes:O

Leave the car completely standard would be my advice.

I speak as I find.

They have always been excellent with me and everybody else I know.

I would always recommend them with absolute confidence.

Lighten wallet.

Problems.

Car is worth less when modded.

Harder to sell.

More fuel.

More insurance.

....and the modding never stops

Jabba to tuning cars is what Ratners were to selling jewellery. Only differnce being that Jabba wont own up to there tuning being crap. Speaking from personal experience and there are others on this forum who have been let down and lied too like me. You wont ever see a sustained 250bhp on the standard vRS turbo either. Best you can hope for is low 230bhp with any custom map and zorst.

Darren

I would say that all tuners make mistakes, it's their after sales service/care that makes all the difference. You cannot please all the people all the time, it's impossible and lets face it, customers are not always right or truthful for that matter.

Thats my huge gripe with Jabba. They werent interested in any aftersales service as i can only assume theres no more profit in that.

You are right though any tuning company is suseptible to making the odd mistake. It all depends what you want from a company.

I stopped using my local Skoda dealer due to premium prices but low rent service, and now due to a dodgy map i wont be using Jabba again either.

What are you going to do with your new air freshener.

Ive never understood these 'learning remaps', mine out of the box was as it is now.

Jabba never claimed to do this, surely!

I'd like to see any KO3s sustain anything over 210bhp!! They have never claimed any high bhp figues as sustainable. The harder you push it the more spikey it will be, I've never heard anything other than that from anyone there.

i have to stick up for jabba hear, they are he only company i have ever seen talk me out of the expensive product they sell and into the much cheaper one,cos in their opinion it is the better one.

They were also MUCH cheaper than anyone else, and actually answered all the questions i had, instead of trying to sell me more supposed solutions:D
