Do you think I was right in getting the chap's missus out the passenger seat before accessing the airbag module on vagcom?

Never tried accessing it before, but I was a bit concerned (perhaps not without good reason) that for some horrible reason the airbags would all be triggered and poor Mr's "purple" octy vRS would get an airbag in her face.

Anyway - airbag fault cleared, light out, and one happy Exmouth tourist from "ooop north, 'appen!"

The buyer of the purple (porsche blue) octy vRS that was at TRAX last year PM'd me a while back saying he was planning hols in Exmouth - Had read I work there. So I gave him my mobile number, told him to contact me when down. he came down to my office (I'd taken vagcom to work) and I went out and cleared his ECU of faults at the side of the road. Think a couple of my colleagues were watching bemused from the windows.

Just tell them your talking to the car. I've had some bemused looks when various people have asked me what I am doing
